Toongabbie Dance Centre News

At the recent medal examination day held in June over 120 students danced for their medal examinations all gaining very good results from the two highly qualified examiners from the Australian Dancing Society who were very impressed with the standard of the students ranging in age from 3 years to 65 years of age proving dancing is very popular for all age groups and levels of dance.

The pupils at the studio are all now well on the way preparing for their December examinations plus there is a enthusiastic contingent of competitive dancers preparing to compete at the Tattersall's Australian Championship that are held in Melbourne in December.

This year is especially exciting for these dancers as at the completion of their events which run from Wednesday through to Saturday they will be privileged to attend the Tattersall's World Latin Championship that will be attracting competitors from over 46 countries. In addition to the competitors from the studio many of the staff will also be attending officiating as adjudicators and master of ceremonies at the Tattersall's Australian Championship which is organized by the Australian Dancing Society
